I like to make this on cold wintery days. It's really simple and smells good while it's cooking. Sometimes I leave out the beans and add another jar of sauce. From the Fast and Healthy magazine. Ingredients:
1 medium onion, thinly sliced |
1 medium green bell pepper, 1-inch pieces |
3 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, 2x1-inch pieces |
1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained |
1 (14 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce |
1 (8 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in electric cooker pot. 2. Mix well. 3. Cover and cook on Low setting for at least 6 hours. |
