Chicken Cabbage Rice Burger |

Just experimenting and came up with this recipe. Delicious..... Ingredients:
2 boneless chicken thighs |
1 cup cabbage, chopped |
1/2 cup corn |
1 tomato, chopped |
1/2 onion |
1 garlic clove |
3 tablespoons black peppercorns |
2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 cup rice |
1 cup water |
2 pieces lettuce |
maple syrup, for basting |
oil (for frying) |
Directions:
1. For RICE. 2. Pound garlic, peppercorns, and salt together, set aside. 3. Add oil into pot, fry onions till fragrant. 4. Add in the pound garlic, peppercorn and salt. 5. Add chopped cabbage, corn and tomatoes, fry. 6. Add uncooked rice and water, boil till rice is soft. 7. For CHICKEN. 8. Sprinkle a dash of salt and pepper on chicken thighs. 9. Add oil to pan. 10. When oil is hot, place chicken thigh facing skin on pan. 11. When skin is browning turn over. 12. Baste chicken with maple syrup every time you flip the chicken. 13. (Ensure that chicken is cooked). 14. When cooked leave it for 10-15 minutes before slicing the middle to form an opening. 15. When rice is cooked, place lettuce in chicken and add rice into the opening of the chicken thigh. Serve. |
