Chicken Breast With Cheese and Chilies |

This is a fast lower calorie dish. Pound the chicken a little flat when you bake this and the cooking time should be right on.. Ingredients:
8 boneless skinless chicken breast halves |
1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded |
4 ounces diced green chilies |
1/2 cup green onion, chopped |
4 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled |
1 medium avocado, chopped |
1 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. Lay chicken breasts in 9x13 pan; cover tightly with foil. 2. Bake in 350* oven for 15 minutes. 3. Mix cheese and chilies. Cover each breast equally with mixture, patting to hold in place. 4. Sprinkle chicken evenly with green onion and crumbled bacon. 5. Return to oven and bake, uncovered, until chicken is white in center of thickest piece and cheese melts, about 10 minutes. 6. Scatter avocado over chicken. 7. Serve with sour cream to taste. |
