Chicken Breast and Kidney Beans |

Two incredibly healthy foods to make a tasty main course. Ingredients:
15 ounces kidney beans, drained and rinsed |
1 garlic clove |
1 medium onion |
1 teaspoon italian seasoning |
2 1/2 lbs skinless chicken breasts |
8 ounces tomato sauce |
1/4 cup vinegar (cider or white) |
1 teaspoon sugar |
salt and pepper (to taste) |
Directions:
1. Dice tomatoes and crush the garlic. 2. Chop the chicken 3. In large pot or pan, cook chicken until almost done. 4. Add tomato sauce, vinegar, onion, garlic, seasoning, sugar, salt and pepper. 5. Simmer for about 30-40 minutes or until chicken is tender. 6. Add kidney beans and simmer for 5-10 more minutes. |
