Chicken & Black Pepper Dumplings |

From Betty Crocker. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups milk |
3/4 cup frozen green pea |
3/4 cup sliced frozen carrots |
5 ounces chicken, cooked and cut into bite size pieces |
10 3/4 ounces condensed cream of chicken and mushroom soup |
1 cup bisquick baking mix |
1/3 cup milk |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
chopped fresh parsley, if desired (optional) |
Directions:
1. Heat 1-1/2 cups milk, peas, carrots, chicken and soup to boiling in 3-quart saucepan. 2. Stir Bisquick mix, 1/3 cup milk and black pepper until soft dough forms. 3. Drop dough by 8 spoonfuls onto chicken mixture. 4. Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes. 5. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer. 6. Sprinkle with parsley. |
