Chicken & bean stroganoff

This is a bit different from the usual stroganoff but delicious. Good to make for company
Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon margarine
1 tablespoon oil
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 lb chicken, cut into thin strips
1 tablespoon oil
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
1 cup mushroom (fresh)
14 ounces pork and beans in tomato sauce
2 teaspoons parsley
1/2 cup light sour cream
Directions:
1. Fry onion in margarine& first amount of oil.
2. Remove to a small bowl.
3. Coat chicken in corn starch, place frying pan with second amount of oil.
4. Fry till lightly browned then add water bouillon powder bouillon powder, mushrooms& onions.
5. Heat till boiling.
6. Reduce heat.
7. Cover& simmer for about 10 min.
8. until chicken is tender.
9. Add beans, parsley& sour cream.
