I found this recipe on the back of a package of store brand dumpling noodles. I made a couple of modifications and my family loves it. It's too easy to prepare and it's very filling. Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken (shredded) |
1 (16 ounce) package wide egg noodles |
2 (10 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup |
1 1/2 cups milk |
1 tablespoon instant chicken bouillon |
1 (15 ounce) can sweet peas |
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (shredded) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Prepare noodles according to package directions. 3. In a medium saucepan combine canned soup, milk and bouillon. Heat just to boiling. Remove from heat. Add can of peas to soup mixture. 4. In a large bowl combine drained noodles, pea soup mixture and chicken. Stir until evenly mixed. 5. Pour into 3 quart baking dish. 6. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. 7. Cover and bake at 350 degree for 20 - 30 minutes. |
