Mash avocados the clean and easy way. place halves in a heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; seal and squeeze. Ingredients:
8 sourdough bread slices, toasted |
2 tablespoons mayonnaise |
8 purple onion slices |
4 (1-ounce) monterey jack or provolone cheese slices |
8 bacon slices, cooked |
8 lettuce leaves |
8 (1/4-inch-thick) roasted chicken breast slices |
8 tomato slices |
2 california avocados, peeled and mashed |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Spread 1 side of each toast slice evenly with mayonnaise; top 4 toast slices evenly with onion slices and next 5 ingredients. 2. Spoon mashed avocado on top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with remaining toast slices, and serve immediately. |
