Mash avocados the clean and easy way: Place halves in a heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; seal and squeeze. Ingredients:
8 slices sourdough bread, toasted |
2 tablespoons mayonnaise |
2 avocados, peeled and mashed |
8 slices purple onion |
4 (1-ounce) slices monterey jack or provolone cheese |
8 slices bacon, cooked |
8 lettuce leaves |
8 slices tomato |
8 (1/4-inch-thick) slices roasted chicken breast |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Spread 1 side of each bread slice evenly with mayonnaise; spread half of slices with mashed avocado, and top with onion and next 5 ingredients. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with remaining bread slices; serve sandwiches immediately. |
