chicken and egg noodle casserole can reduce cals by using skim mild and reduced fat soup can use Barilla plus rotini for added protein and fiber Ingredients:
10 3/4 ounce cream of mushroom soup, condensed |
2 1/2 cups egg noodles, dry |
1/2 cup 1% milk |
1/4 tsp ground black pepper |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
1 1/2 cup frozen mixed vegetables |
1 lb chicken breast, cooked, cubed |
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook egg noodles according to instructions, rinse with cold water. 2. Mix soup, milk, pepper, parmesan cheese, vegetables, chicken, and noodles. 3. Put in 1 1/2 qt casserole dish prepared with cooking spray. 4. Bake at 400 F for 25 minutes or until hot. 5. Top with cheddar cheese, bake 5 additional minutes. |
