This is from 365 Ways to Cook Pasta. I eat this when I'm not feeling well. Ingredients:
1 (10 ounce) can chicken broth |
1 cup water |
1 small carrot, cut in coins |
2 tablespoons star shaped pasta (stellini) |
parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Heat the broth, water and carrot slices to boiling. 2. Simmer, covered, about 5 minutes until carrots are tender. 3. Stir in the pasta, simmer, uncovered until the pasta is tender; 5-8 minutes. Ladle into bowls and sprinkle with cheese. |
