chicken and shrimp jambalaya Ingredients:
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken thighs |
4 oz turkey sausage |
1 1/2 cups chopped red, yellow, or green sweet pepper |
1 cup thinly sliced celery (2 stalks) |
1 cup chopped onion (1 large) |
14 1/2 ounce diced tomatoes, undrained |
4 oz green chili peppers |
2 tablespoons tapioca |
1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed |
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
4 ounces shrimp, thawed |
2 cups frozen cut okra |
Directions:
1. add all ingr in crock pot, except shrimp and okra 2. Slow cook 8 hours 3. add shrimp and okra 4. cook 20 min. 5. Serve |
