3 pound(s) boneless chicken breast |
4 quart(s) chicken broth |
1 stick(s) butter |
salt to taste |
1 cup(s) cold milk |
1 cup(s) chicken broth for dumplings |
self-rising flour |
Directions:
1. Boil chicken in a lot of broth until tender. Salt to taste, but be careful because there will be salt in the remaining ingredients. Remove the chicken to a dish. To make dumplings: Combine 1 cup broth, butter, and milk. Add self-rising flour until dough is thick enough to roll. Roll on floured board; cut into strips and drop into broth.
