Just a yummy and easy recipe for chicken and dumplings Ingredients:
2 chicken breast, bite size pieces |
2 cups water |
1 chicken stock cube |
2 can mushroom soup |
1 onion diced |
1 green bell pepper, diced |
2 carrots, diced |
7 oz biscuits |
1 tbsp butter |
Directions:
1. Sautee the onions in the butter in a large saucepan. Once translucent, add the chicken and cook until chicken is just done. Add the carrots and bell pepper and cook for another 5 minutes. Add soup, water and chicken stock and cook for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. When the soup is about cooked, it is time to add the biscuits. Tear the biscuits into bite size pieces and add slowly to the soup. Cook for another 10 - 15 minutes and serve. |
