This is the EASIEST recipe for good ol' chicken and dumplings. Ingredients:
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast |
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup |
1 (14 ounce) package flour tortillas |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Boil chicken until tender. 2. Remove cooked chicken to let cool. 3. Save broth. 4. Add soup, salt and pepper (to taste) to broth and bring to a slow boil. 5. Do not break tortillas up in package. 6. Cut tortillas into squares and drop into boiling mix. Cook 3-5 minutes. 7. Tear or cut up chicken and add to pot. 8. Let cook for 5 minutes and serve. 9. (Do Not Use Corn Tortillas). |
