This is one of my husbands favorite dinners. It is easy to make and makes a lot, so you can feed it to a crowd or have left overs for a couple of days. I usually make it with corn, mashed potatoes, broccoli rice and cheese, brown sugar and honey carrots, and rolls! Ingredients:
3 -5 chicken breasts, cooked and cubed |
2 (6 ounce) boxes chicken flavor stuffing mix |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1/2 cup chicken broth |
1 (6 -8 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, drained |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Prepare 1 box of the stove top stuffing according to directions on the box and spread in the bottom of a 9 X 13 inches pan. 3. Sprinkle cooked cubed chicken and sliced mushrooms over the dressing. 4. Mix together soups, sour cream, and broth; pour over chicken and mushroom layer. 5. Prepare remaining box of stuffing and spread on top of soup layer. 6. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until heated through. |
