Chicken and Brown Rice Soup

i'm posting this as i'm making it, so hopefully this will be good! Trying to eat healthier and figure if i have this in the frig to heat up instead of quick and easy fatty food, i just might eat this instead. Feel free to add any spices that suit your taste, although try not to use anymore salt
Ingredients:
4 cups chicken broth, 1 of those cups seperate
3 cups water
1 cup brown rice
1 medium onion (chopped)
4 celery ribs (chopped)
1 lb mushroom (chopped)
1/2 lb baby carrots (chopped)
1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts (cubed)
1 teaspoon salt
1 garlic clove
1 tablespoon parsley
1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon bay leaf
Directions:
1. combine rice and 1 cup broth and mircowave for five minutes.
2. combine remaining broth and water and bring to boil.
3. toss all veggies and spices into pot and simmer
4. cook chunked chicken and toss into pot.
5. let ingredients simmer for 45 minutes.
