Quick alternative to regular cheese sauce. I never thought Id like this as I'm not a fan of blue cheese...but this dish is amazingly tatsy.I serve with boiled potatoes and steamed cauliflower. My kids love it too...give it a try you will be surprised!! Ingredients:
4 boneless chicken breasts |
100 g danish blue cheese |
280 ml double cream |
Directions:
1. For the chicken :Preheat oven 200degrees. Place in small roasting dish and a few splashes of olive oil and season. Cook for 25mins .basting half way through. 2. For the sauce:Cut the blue cheese into small cubes and place into a small saucepan on low heat. As you see the cheese melting begin adding the cream in small amounts.giving it time to heat. Try not to let it boil. 3. Pour sauce over chicken and your desired vegetables.and enjoy! |
