Chicken And Banana Appetizers |

Although very traditional in many parts of asia as an appetizer not as well known in the states compared to egg rolls and won tons. Ingredients:
2 whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts cooked |
2 ripe medium sized bananas |
6 slices white sandwich bread, trimmed of crust and quarted |
4 eggs |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup all purpose flour |
4 cups soft bread crumbs ( about a dozen slices of bread ) |
oil for frying |
Directions:
1. Cut the chicken breasts into 8 pieces and then each piece into thirds for 24 pieces of chicken total 2. cut each banana length wise into quarters, then each quarter into thrids for 24 pieces total 3. beat eggs and milk in medium sized bowl until well blended 4. brush one side of each piece of bread with egg mix 5. place one piece of chicken and one piece of banana on each piece of egged bread 6. place flour in one bowl bread crumbs in another 7. coat each chicken banana square lightly with flour then , dip in egg mix ,then the bread crumbs 8. heat oil in wok or large skillet over high heat to 375 degrees 9. cook 4 to 6 squares at on time unitl golden brown 2 to 3 minutes 10. drain on paper towels |
