CHICKEN ALMOND QUICHE DATED 1966 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Anderson Estate in Frisco Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
9-inch unbaked pie shell |
1/2 cup diced chicken |
3 tablespoons sliced almonds |
1-1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese |
2 eggs beaten |
1-1/2 cups milk |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon mace |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Put chicken, almonds, Swiss cheese in pie shell in that order. 2. Combine remaining ingredients except parmesan cheese then pour over chicken mixture. 3. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top then bake at 375 for 30 minutes. |
