Ingredients:
3 strip(s) bacon |
1/2 cup(s) diced onion |
1 can(s) mushrooms 4 oz |
2 tablespoon(s) butter |
1/2 cup(s) all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/2 teaspoon(s) pepper |
1 pint(s) half-and-half |
1 1/3 cup(s) chicken broth |
1/4 cup(s) mushroom juice |
1 tablespoon(s) sherry |
1 package(s) biscuits |
Directions:
1. Saute the bacon, onion, mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter. Blend in flour, salt, and pepper and cook until bubbly. 2. Remove from heat and stir in half and half, chicken broth, 1/2 cup mushroom juice. Heat to boiling stirring constantly. Sir in the chicken. Freeze 3. When thawed, heat until bubbly and serve on biscuits |
