My sister in-law made this one impromtu dinner night and I loved it. It's a fairly easy recipe and just needs a fresh green salad with it! Ingredients:
1 lb italian sausage |
1 (15 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce |
1 (16 ounce) package hot roll mix |
2 tablespoons parsley flakes |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1/2 teaspoon basil |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon oregano leaves |
8 ounces mozzarella cheese |
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook the Italian Sausage and slice and put aside. 2. Mix hot roll mix as label directs EXCEPT use 1 cup of water,OMIT the egg and DO NOT RISE. 3. Pat into 13x9 pan and make a stand up edge. 4. Mix up sauce with spices along with the cooked Italian Sausage. 5. Sprinkle 1/2 cheese over crust and top with sauce and rest of cheese. 6. Bake on bottom rack for 25 minutes. |
