a really good cookie Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 large egg |
1/2 cup dark corn syrup |
1 tablespoon grated tangerine peel |
2 1/4 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. In medium bowl, cream butter and sugar. 2. in small saucepan, bring corn syrup to a boil.gradually add to the creamed mixture.beat in egg and tangerine peel. 3. combine dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture - 4. cover and refrigerate 2 hours - 5. roll on floured surface,.cut with cutter - 6. place 1 apart on greased cookie sheet. 7. bake at 375* for 8-10 minutes.or edges are firm. 8. remove to rack to cool completely. |
