an adaptation of the traditional oatmeal cookie Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, melted |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup white sugar |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 tablespoon peanut butter |
3/4 cup flour |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups oats |
1/2 cup chocolate chips |
1/2 cup pecans, chopped |
1/2 cup plum, chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. 2. Cream butter with both sugars. 3. Beat egg, vanilla, and peanut butter into the butter mixture. 4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, & oats. 5. Combine the flour mixture with the butter mixture. 6. Stir in chocolate chips, pecans, and dates. 7. Bake in a greased 13 x 9 in pan for 30 minutes. |
