You will love these chewey cookies, so will the kids - great for lunch box fillers!! Ingredients:
2/3 cup butter, room temperature |
2 cups brown sugar |
2 eggs |
2 teaspoons boiling water |
2 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 cup candy (m&m's) |
Directions:
1. Cream together butter, brown sugar and eggs. Add boiling water.
2. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to wet ingredients.
3. Gently stir in M&M's.
4. Use an ice cream scoop to make jumbo cookies, or drop from a tablespoon to make regular size cookies.
5. Bake at 375F for 18 minutes for Jumbo or 10-12 minutes for regular - size cookies.
