Chewy Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookies |

This recipe was passed down to me years ago. I have been making these cookies once a week for about 10 years. A favorite of my kids and all their friends. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup cake flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 1/2 cups margarine, softened |
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar |
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar |
2 large eggs |
1 tablespoon vanilla extract |
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Cream margarine, white sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
2. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
3. Mix in baking powder and cake flour until blended.
4. Gradually add all purpose white flour until blended.
5. Stir in chocolate chips.
6. Drop dough by tablespoons onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper 2 inches apart.
7. Bake 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 375°F or just until set and slightly brown on the bottom.
8. Remove and cool on wire racks.
