Chewy Chocolate Weetbix Slice |

Very yummy slightly addictive slice you would never guess that its made from weetbix recipe was given to my mum by a friend of hers Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar |
125 g unsalted butter |
1 egg, lightly beaten |
1 teaspoon vanilla essence |
2 tablespoons cocoa powder |
1 cup self raising flour |
1/2 cup shredded coconut |
1 cup crushed weet-bix (4-5) |
icing |
1 cup icing sugar |
2 tablespoons cocoa powder |
2 tablespoons milk (or to desired consistency) |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 160c. 2. lina a 20cm square slice tin. 3. combine all ingredients in a bowl. 4. press into tin HARD. 5. bake for 20 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. 6. ICING. 7. mix all three ingredients 8. pour over slice and allow to cool in tin. |
