These are a quick and easy pan cookie with a very nice texture and flavor. I found this recipe in the 2006 Kraft Holiday Bliss magazine. Ingredients:
3/4 cup stick butter (softened) |
1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar |
2 eggs |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
6 white chocolate baking squares (divided) |
1 cup salted peanuts, coarsely chopped |
1 semisweet baking chocolate square |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Line a 13x9 inch baking pan with foil or parchment and spray with cooking spray. 3. Beat butter and brown sugar with mixer on medium until light and flutty. 4. Blend in eggs, flour and baking powder. 5. Chop 5 squares of the white chocolate; stir into the batter with peanuts. 6. Spread into prepared pan. 7. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan. 8. Melt remaining square of white chocolate. 9. Drizzle over baked rectangle. 10. Melt semi-sweet chocolate. 11. Drizzle over baked rectangle. 12. Lift from pan and cut into triangles. |
