Melt in your mouth, I know these can't be good for me, but I don't care dessert bar! Ingredients:
12 oz. caramels (unwrapped candy caramels or a 12 oz. caramel dip) |
1 can sweetened condensed milk |
2 sticks butter |
1 yellow cake mix |
1/4 c oil |
2 eggs |
1 c white chocolate chips |
2 c chocolate chips |
1/2 c toffee pieces |
Directions:
1. Melt caramels, milk and butter on low hear to just boiling, stirring frequently. 2. Set aside to cool. 3. ***************** 4. Mix cake mix, oil, and eggs by hand. 5. Add white chocolate and chocolate chips, then toffee pieces. 6. Mix all together, batter will be crumbly. 7. Put 3/4 of cake mixture in buttered 9 x 13 pan. 8. Reserve 1/4 of mixture for topping. 9. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes. 10. Cool 10 - 15 minutes. 11. Pour caramel mixture over top of cake mixture. 12. Sprinkle remaining cake mixture over top of all. 13. Bake 10 minutes longer. 14. Cool. 15. Run knife around edges to prevent sticking. 16. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours, then cut into smaller pieces. 17. They are so rich you only need a small taste, but I never stop there! 18. Enjoy! |
