From The Breakfast Book Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream |
1 cup pancake syrup |
2 eggs |
3/4 cup whole wheat flour |
3/4 cup all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 1/2 cups rolled oats |
1 cup broken walnuts (optional) or 1 cup pecan pieces (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease muffin tins,. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream, syrup, eggs, flours, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and oats and beat with a whisk. If adding nuts, stir them in now. 3. Fill the muffin tins 3/4 full. 4. Bake 20 minutes, or until fork comes out clean. |
