Crunchy Chevdo
Ingredients:
7 cups rice krispies
2 1/2 cups corn flakes (no named superstore brand only)
1 1/2 cups peanuts
1 1/2 cups pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup cashews
1 cup almonds (roast in oven)
1 cup raisins (optional)
1/4 cup corn oil
2 -3 dried red chilies
2 teaspoons mustard seeds
1 teaspoon turmeric (add 1/2 tspn more if required)
2 teaspoons sesame seeds (put last when pot is taken off the stove)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon citric acid (add little at a time and taste)
2 -3 teaspoons sugar (optional)
1 teaspoon red chili powder
Directions:
1. Pour mixture over the chevdo mix and stir.
