I keep seeing cans of chestnut puree at the grocery store and I've been looking for an easy recipe to use it, this looks like a very simple one. I'm putting the freezer time into the cook time spot. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons rum |
18 ounces canned sweetened chestnut puree |
2 1/2 cups heavy cream |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine the rum and chestnut puree to make a smooth paste. 2. Whip the cream and sugar to form soft peaks, fold into the chestnut mixture. 3. Freeze until ready to use. |
