This was my grandmother's recipe. This pie is always a hit. Ingredients:
4 eggs |
2 cups white sugar |
4 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons cream |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie |
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and butter or margarine. 2. Add eggs one at a time, and mix well. 3. Add cream and vanilla to this mixture, and blend well. 4. Pour mixture into 9 inch pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes, or until set and brown on top. |
