It's from Southern Living. It belongs in the Mid Atlantic U. region. Ingredients:
1 lb lump crabmeat |
1 large egg |
4 saltines, crushed |
1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes |
3/4 teaspoon old bay seasoning |
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
3 -4 drops hot sauce |
1/8 teaspoon fresh ground pepper |
3 tablespoons mayonnaise |
3 tablespoons mayonnaise |
1/2 teaspoon old bay seasoning |

Directions:
1. Drain crabmeat, removing any bits of shell. 2. Combine egg and next 7 ingredients; stir in crabmeat. 3. Shape into 6 (3 inch) patties. 4. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. 5. Combine 3 tbsp mayonnaise and 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning; spread evenly on crab cakes. 6. Sprinkle with paprika. 7. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until golden. 8. (Be careful not to overbake.). 9. Serve with Tartar sauce or cocktail sauce. |
