A delicious cookie made with cherries, dates, and pecans all rolled together in Kellogg’s Special K cereal. I make them every Christmas. They look nice in a cookie exchange. Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
3/4 cup oleo |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
1 cup chopped dates |
1 cup chopped pecans |
1 cup chopped maraschino cherry |
1 cup crushed kellogg's special k cereal |
Directions:
1. Sift together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. 2. Cream together oleo, sugar, and eggs. Blend in dry ingredients; mix well. 3. Add dates, pecans, and cherries. 4. Shape into balls and roll in crushed cereal. 5. Place on a greased baking sheet. 6. Top with a cherry half. 7. Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes. |
