This is an easy yet decadent cobbler. Enjoy Ingredients:
21 ounce can cherry pie filling |
3 cups chopped rhubarb |
1 cup granulated sugar |
4 tablespoons butter |
crust |
1/2 cup shortening |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1 egg |
1 cup flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Spread fruit in rectangular pan then sprinkle with sugar and dot with butter. 2. Cream shortening and sugar in a mixing bowl then add egg and beat well then set aside. 3. Combine flour and baking powder then add alternately with milk to cream mixture. 4. Pour over fruit then bake at 350 for 55 minutes. |
