If you love cherries as I do you'll like this bread. I use the almond flavoring only because it 's a perfect match for Cherries. Enjoy! Ingredients:
3/4 c. oil |
3 eggs |
1 tsp vanilla (try almond flavoring) |
3 cups flour |
2 cups sugar (may use splenda) |
1 tsp baking soda |
1 tsp salt |
1 tsp cinnamon |
1 (20 oz) can cherry pie filling |
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Beat together eggs oil and vanilla. 2. Sift dry ingredients together and add to egg mixture. 3. Stir in cherry pie filling and nuts by hand. 4. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 325ºF for 1 hour. 5. OR- 6. 7 mini loaves and baked for 50 minutes |
