This is from mom's cousin's daughter-in-law. We have been blessed with great cooks in my family! Ingredients:
2 cup flour |
2 cup oatmeal |
1 1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
1 tsp baking soda |
1 1/4 c butter, melted |
21 oz can cherry pie filling |
1 c mini marshmallows |
Directions:
1. In 3 qt mixer bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, pecans, soda and butter 2. Mix at low speed scraping sides until crumbly, 2 - 3 minutes. 3. Reserve 1 1/2 cup crumb mixture for topping. 4. Press crumb mixture evenly into 13x9x2 pan. 5. Bake near center of oven for 12 to 15 min.or until lightly browned at edges. 6. Gently spoon pie filling evenly over crust, sprinkle with marshmellows and crumb mixture. 7. Return to oven for 25 -35 minutes or until lightly browned. 8. Cool and cut into bars |
