Pillsbury Bakeoff Cookbook; haven't made yet. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
2/3 cup firmly-packed brown sugar |
1/2 cup chocolate instant malted milk powder |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1 egg |
1/2 cup shortening |
2 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 cup chopped maraschiino cherries, drained |
Directions:
1. Combine everything (except the chopped cherries) in a bowl and blend well with mixer. Stir in cherries; mix thoroughly. 2. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. 3. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes. Cool. |
