Baked Noodle casserole layered with sour cream and cherry pie filling. Goes great with brisket Ingredients:
8 ounces egg noodles |
3 eggs beaten |
1/4 cup sugar or splenda |
1 14 ounce can cherry pie filling to which you have added 1/8th teaspoon almond extract and stirred well. |
1 stick butter softened |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
4 ounces sour cream |
Directions:
1. Cook and drain the noodles 2. Mix butter with sugar and cinnamon, vanilla and eggs. 3. Mix in the sour cream 4. In a round 1 1/2 quart greased casserole, place 1/2 the noodle mixture, then 1/2 the cherry pie filling, then the rest of the noodle mixture and top with the remaining cherry pie filling. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes 6. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. |
