Another recipe from my Mom. She was a great cook! I love the crust and the flavor of vanilla pudding with the cherries. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1/2 cup butter |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages vanilla pudding mix |
3 1/2 cups milk |
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling |
Directions:
1. Mix flour, 1/2 cup butter and 2 T. sugar. Pat in 8x8 pan. Bake 20 minutes, 350 degrees. Let cool. 2. Cook 2 pkgs. vanilla pudding mix with 3 1/2 cups milk. Pour over crust and let set 15 -20 minutes. Pour 1 can Cherry Pie Filling over pudding. Put in refrigerator. Serve with whipped cream. |
