My daughter gave me this one: An easy put together dessert sure to be a hit with everyone. Looks pretty too. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1 cup butter or margarine |
1 cup blender chopped pecans |
1, 8 oz pkg cream cheese |
3 cups powdered sugar |
1, 8 oz.container of whipped topping or equivilent in whipped cream |
2 cans of cherry pie filling |
Directions:
1. Mix the flour, butter, nuts and pat into a 9 x 13 inch pan for a crust
2. Bake at 350F for 20 to 25 minutes and cool
3. Combine cream cheese and sugar till smooth and fold in whipped topping or whipped cream
4. Spoon mixtrure atop cooled crust
5. Pour on the 2 cans of cherry pie filling and chill very well.
