Mom hand-wrote this recipe into her cookbook after she had made her additions to the 1992 edition. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) can bing cherries |
1 (16 ounce) can crushed pineapple |
1 (6 ounce) package black cherry jell-o |
12 ounces cola, beverage |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Drain fruit; measure syrups; add water to make 2 cups. Heat to boiling, add Jello to dissolve, add cola. Chill to a syrup; add fruit and nuts. Chill. |
