this coffee cake would be delicious anytime, but on Christmas morning.....great. Ingredients:
16 t margarine |
1 1/2 c sugar |
4 eggs |
1 t vanilla |
3 c flour |
1 1/2 t baking powder |
1/2 t salt |
21 oz can cherry pie filling |
glaze |
1 1/2 cpowdered sugar |
1/2 t vanilla |
2 t melted butter |
3 t warm milk |
Directions:
1. cream margarine and sugar. 2. add eggs, one at a time 3. add vanilla 4. sift together..flour, baking powder,& salt. 5. add to creamed mixture 6. spread 2/3 of mixture into greased 10 x 15 jelly roll pan 7. cover with pie filling, spoon remaining 1/3 of batter on top. 8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 min. 9. Glaze 10. mix all ingredients and drizzle over warm cake |
