This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Margolis Estate in Austin Texas in 1991. Ingredients:
1 box cherry chip cake mix |
1 can red cream soda |
frosting |
1 small container frozen whipped topping thawed |
1 small box cherry gelatin |
Directions:
1. Combine cake mix according to package directions substituting soda for water. 2. Bake in a rectangular baking pan according to package directions. 3. Combine whipped topping and gelatin and mix well. 4. Cool cake completely then spread topping over cake and serve. |
