This is a simple and moist cherry coffee cake. Enjoy Ingredients:
cream together |
1/2 pound margarine |
1 1/2 sugar |
add to above mixture one at a time |
4 eggs |
then add |
1 tablespoon of vanilla |
add |
3 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
dash salt |
in 9 x 13 pan greassed. |
pour 3/4 of batter into pan. |
spread onto batter pie filling (you can use any kind of pie filling) |
then you will need |
1 can cherry pie illing mixed with 1 teaspoon of vanilla or almond extract and set aside |
then top with rest of batter. |
Directions:
1. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 2. If using apple pie filling I would sprinkle on some sugar cinnamon on the cake before baking, and after it comes out when it is cold. |
