Nice combination of sweet and butter, with many variations. Ingredients:
use vanilla cookie crust - see crust page |
2 pounds philly cream cheese, softened |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
4 tbsp. flour |
5 large eggs |
1/2 cup heavy cream |
1 ounce butter extract |
1 ounce cherry extract |
red food coloring |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 475^. 2. Blend cream cheese, sugar and flour until smooth. 3. Add eggs one at a time. 4. Add cream, mixing thoroughly. 5. Pour half of batter into another bowl. 6. Add butter extract to one bowl. 7. Add cherry extract and coloring to other bowl. 8. Stir each bowl to incorporate completely. 9. Pour cherry filling into prepared pan. 10. Pour butter filling over cherry. 11. Swirl with knife or spatula to give marbling effect. 12. Bake at 475^ for 15 minutes. 13. Reduce temp. to 250^ and continues baking for 1 hour. 14. Let cool and refrigerate before serving. 15. NOTE: You can substitute cherry flavor with raspberry, strawberry, black berry, blueberry, chocolate, whatever your heart desires. As long as you like it with butter. |
