The Bread Machine Cookbook makes a 1 1/2 pound loaf Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups milk |
1 1/2 tablespoons butter |
1 1/2 tablespoons almond paste |
1/4 teaspoon almond extract |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
2/3 cup whole wheat flour |
2 1/3 cups bread flour |
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast |
1/2 cup dried sour cherries |
1/2 cup almonds, chopped |
Directions:
1. Bake according to manufacturer’s instructions, adding the cherries and almonds during the add-ins cycle or 5 minutes before the final kneading is finished. |
