what could not be good in this recipe..can't wait to try it.. Ingredients:
1 cup crisco |
2 cups sugar |
4 large eggs, beaten |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
3 cups flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
14 1/4 ounces cherry pie filling |
1 cup powdered sugar |
1/2 teaspoon almond extract |
2 -3 tablespoons milk |
1/2 teaspoon almond extract |
Directions:
1. cream crisco and sugar.together.mix well. 2. add next 5 ingredients and mix well. 3. pour 3/4ths of the batter into a greased jelly roll pan - 4. spread cherry pie filling over the top. 5. dot with remaining batter - 6. bake at 350* for 30-25 minutes. 7. drizzle with almond glaze while still warm. 8. cut into bars - to serve. |
