Big bowl of YUM. Great for pot-lucks. You may substitute chunk pineapple instead of crushed if you like. Ingredients:
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling |
1 (6 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drain juice |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk |
16 ounces cool whip (the large tub) |
2 -4 ounces pecan pieces |
Directions:
1. In huge bowl mix all ingredients until blended well. (I'm not crazy about nuts, so I only use a small bit of pecans.). 2. Variations: add another can of cherry pie filling and/or cocount flakes. 3. If you can resist, it is best after chilled for a couple of hours. |
